It is 5:30 am and we are off to Desmeyland. 17 of us including 8 grandkids. Should be fun. Yikes pray for me… No pray for them! No call CPS! Are we having fun yet! Are we there yet? When are we going to be there? Can I have some cannndy? Papa papa pAPpapa are you goooing to buy me something?

What happen when we stopped believing there was supposed a future is we stopped prophesing into the future. Prophecy is how history becomes His Story.

Religion wants to tame people, domesticate the masses and get them to keep the rules.  But you never discover new ideas in the zoo. It’s only in the uncharted jungle that new spices are unearthed. We need fresh ideas, untried solutions, innovation and bold-courageous thoughts delivered by risk-takers not prison guards. 

There is a revolution emerging in the earth that is not a reaction to what is wrong with the world but is response to intimate lovers exitiing the bridal chamber inpreganted with Christ. Creation groans with the birth pangs as the bride labors… the head is crowning while the world waits in expection.

Passion can deliver us from sacfrice. Religion has a high value for self-abasement. Long prayers, huge fasts are the core pratices of self denial that hasten to lead to favor with God. But passion always looks like sacfrice to those who aren’t in love.

Just got done preaching at the Vertical Call. Wild night! We are on the theshold of a movement that is about to redifine us. Read Acts 15. Crazy stuff but fun.

Last year the 49ers were terrible. This year they are good enough to give me hope that they might actually win. But hope defered makes the heart sick but a winning football team is healing to the bones. I am about to be a freeagent fan. I think I will play for another rooting team and let God restore my soul… Oh thank you Jesus! I have been set free from the bondage of cheering only to have my heart crushed under the intense disappoint of interceptions and fumbles. I am free… Free to love a winning team. I have taken off the filhy rags of my 49er coat and put on my new self of …. (I not sure yet)!

Got up at 4am. On our way home. I preach tonight at Bethel. I got to home in time to intercede for the 49ers! Jesus loves them and His favor is rising on them today ( I hope). Pray people! This is important.
