July has been soooooo busy. I’ve been doing a ton of traveling. I just got back from doing a conference with Harold Eberle up in Yakima Washington. It’s always fun and enlightening spending time with Harold. He rocks!

This week I am out at lake Shasta on a houseboat with my family. We’re having an awesome time just relaxing, hanging out, jet skiing, and soaking in the hot Redding sun! Its 106 out here. It’s great to have this quality time with my wife, children, and grandchildren. In times like this I really think about the kind of legacy we are leaving.

While I was in England I had a vision of an army of people who were all sexually broken and they were following us.  There were homosexuals, transvestites types, people who have been raped, whores, child molesters, abortionists, and pornographers.  I heard the Lord tell me that there is a vacuum of leadership in our world.  He put a mantle of leadership on us for this generation and said, ‘I have anointed you to lead these people.’

Most of this letter was written while listening to Josh Garrels “don’t wait for me”. I highly recommend listening to the same type of music while reading the note… Enjoy.

Love’s flourish is a divine and irrefutable gift, a burning thing; a real and live emblem of why we are here. Its heat melts even the hardest of hearts. Human knowledge of this most magnificent emotion can never truly comprehend all that is love; so I dig and dig and love and hurt and learn and then love some more. I live life unaware that tomorrow could hold love’s great trove, yet upon finding it I feel as if it were mine all along.

I met with about two hundred leaders from all over Oregon last night and spoke to them about living from eternity. I talked about how the book Late Great Planet Earth, changed our message from “The kingdom is at hand”, to “the end of the world is near.” We stopped prophesying into the future because we didn’t believe there was supposed to be one and history stopped becoming his-story
