Warning: contents in this letter may be honest…
Pain comes in many colors, shapes and sizes; when you least expect it and when you expect it the most. Bad news never has good timing, and there is no quick way to mend a broken heart. I lived life trying to walk the thin line of safety, carefully choosing every decision knowing full well that everyone will have an effect on my eternity; still at the end of the day it was not my choice that unleashed the crushing blow, it was the choice of another.

Kathy and I have had a great time this past week. We ministered at the Refuge House of Prayer (RHOP) in Rancho Cucamonga for four days, sharing the Kingdom of God and seeing people unlocked and empowered. We flew home on Sunday night and I spend Monday playing basketball in the morning and relaxing around the house in the afternoon. Yesterday I spent the morning in meetings and then in the afternoon I headed out to Etna, California, a couple hours north of Redding, and ministered at a place called JH Ranch. It was a good time at the ranch, and then I drove home and got back to Redding around midnight.

When Elijah ministered under the Old Covenant he cursed the nation by causing a famine, destroyed false prophets and stood against enemy kings. But what would Elisha’s ministry look like if he would have lived under the new covenant? Good question. The book of Malachi gives great insight into this.
Malachi 4:5-6 ‘Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD. He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse.’

We have just finished ministering in Singapore for 8 days. This was our first time in Asia. I don’t think I have ever experienced more hunger anywhere in the world. Most Asian people are a little subdued in their nature, but by the end of the week they were hugging and kissing one another. We did a week-long supernatural school. It was amazing. A team from Bethel will do week two. This place rocks!
