We just recently completed the remodel of our master bedroom and bathroom. Whoever believes that watching TV doesn’t affect your behavior is simply deceived. HGTV has completely changed our lives forever. Kathy has found it impossible to be satisfied with anything less than an ongoing building project. We will never be the Vallotton mystery house because I hate unfinished projects. Stair cases going to nowhere would drive me completely nuts! Please pray for Kathy… she is now resorted to TIVO-ing all of the home improvement shows. I fear it is an obsession!

The homosexual community is livid about losing the Proposition 8 battle. They are planning to take it to court to see if they can convince a judge to overturn the will of the people. Any judge in a democratic society who feels like it is his or her right to overturn the will of the majority has lost sight of the founding principles of democracy and deserves to be removed from office.

Three of my grandchildren stayed with us for a couple of days.  We went to Chuck E. Cheese (a terrorist prison camp for adults but don’t worry, I didn’t break…I refused to talk).  We built transformers and fought with them (Evan said my guy wasn’t allowed to win), played basketball (a 10 year old kid beat me 2 out of 3), exercised on the Wii for a half an hour three times a day (I watched. The hoola-hoop deal was just wrong).  We rode the quads and fought over who was next…I never did get to ride them… they can give me a hard time about my weight, but I am still not doing the Wii.  And then came the ultimate test of grand-parenting, I taught Evan how to finish the job he starts in the bathroom (not my favorite moments, and he forgot the training every time.  I think I’m going to make a video on how to wipe your hinny).

I was at a round table this week with Peter Wagner, Rick Joyner, Cindy Jacobs, Che Ahn, Lance Wallnau and about ten other leaders.  It was such a privilege just to be invited to this special meeting. The theme was bringing cultural transformation to the seven mountains of society. I was in awe of the brilliant minds and excellent spirits of the people God has raised up in this hour. It gave me real hope for our nation and released faith in me for a kingdom revolution.  Wish you could have all been there.
